NEW CHANGES

i cannot wait for the new changes to be done! I will have improved the blog! Including:

A new "my figures" section, including every family and name of each family, where they belong, (live) and any extra bits

and possibly a stories section, which includes all stories for you to enjoy.

and sometime i will get round to a new section " DIY " this will be great! enjoy reading what i have made and how to make them! 

I have made a new blog background! Just adding some changes <3 

also, i have uploaded the pictures of the prizes from the competition i came third in! So, i will post them soon (maybe along the new changes!) ;)

DESIGN A HOUSE COMPETITION

I am a member of the sylvanian families collectors club and get a mag every season with a competition. Two issues ago i entered the Design a house competition and just got my results! I CAME 3RD! yay!!!!! I won a home interiors set (lights, curtains and lace curtain!) worth £10! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY

Sylvanian families shop pics!

so, at the mo, i have a really bad cold so i felt like uploading ALL the pics of the sylvanian families shop and the cornwood festival!


This is the Village store i bought! The inside and out is all neatly set up! It took me 2 WHOLE HOURS!!!

The japanese garden set and swing set put together! Peppa Hamilton and Cherry Periwinkle are playing on the swing while Peter Periwinkle and William are chatting happily in the park!

I also got the Nursery Sandpit / pool for the babies to play in! an absoloute neccesity for sylvanian fun!


i hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures as i enjoyed going to the shop!

Sylvanian Families Shop!

(first, i should apologize that this post is late, sorry x)

So, as  some of you may know, i was visiting the shop on the 28th August for my birthday! Luckily, i managed to take some photos of the displays!

I also got a bonus figure for spending over £40 in the celebration because its the shops birthday!

SYLVANIAN FAMILIES SHOP VISIT!!!!

I CANNOT belive that tomorrow i am visiting the sylvanian families shop in London! I have been waiting for this for months! I am taking my collectors club certificate, my latest club magazine, my phone to take pictures, (for you guys to see!!!!) my collectors club point booklet (tell you more about that in a min) and a picture of my sylvanians having a party for their birthday wall!

I get up at 6 in the morning along with my family to catch a two hour train ride so i wont have to wait to leave in the morning (I couldnt imagine that!!!)

So my sylvanians had to kind of celebrate in a big way because i will be bringing back the motherload with  £100 of cash i have saved- There is no better way to do that then with a festival!!!!
Cornwood festival starts on the 28th (tomorrow) till the 30th August (evening) (30th is my birthday) There will be acts on a stage, fireworks, rides, a big picnic, and the haul of what i bring back from the shop!!!!  Also, whats a festival without music and cute competitions?!? I know for a fact on the last night there will be a x-factor while everyone has a picnic! Also, on the picnic, each baby will be called up and presented a book celebrating the moment! The book will be made through a competition for the kids, (design a book for babies about a festival)  And the winner gets a £10 cash prize and there book will be famous!
ON the first night the cornwood adults will have a ball (dont really know the venue yet!!!) and on the second the kids will have a prom ! YIPPEEEEEEEEE!

I just cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!

Wallpapering a sylvanian house

sorry my blog has not been very active at the mo, but its been very busy this summer! Ive been planning my trip to the sylvanian shop, sorting the cornwood ball gowns (its top secet! hushity hush!) and i have been re-decorating my school house and making more! infact, later today im making some clay models! (baskets and bowls) 

but here is some picks and a basic guide on how to wallpaper a sylvanian building! 

You will need:

old newspapers

Glue, Scissors, ruler and a pencil + the building and a pretty pattern for the wallpaper!

 MAKE IT!:

place the newspapers over the building and sketch around any windows or sticky out bits on the building. Then, cut out where the windows/stickers would be. You should be able to place the newspaper template on the wall just fine.
You can see in the picture the paper i have used to wallpaper it! 

Then, using your paper template, place it against the wallpaper your going to use. (Place the news paper on top of the wallpaper) so then you can trace around where the windows will be. Once you have done that, you can stick on the wallpaper to the building!
