Christmas

Christmas had arrived in corn wood! All of  the children where giddy with joy! So, what had Santa got them? Well, let's find out....

Peppa Hamilton delivered all the presents from the town square that morning, leaving all the presents outside the citizens doors.
When the presents where all collected, all the families sat down to open their wonderful gifts.
Maise Hamilton received a Santa figure, spice received a ball and ham got a book on gardening which he ADORED!

The Frisian girls recieved beautiful dresses which they believe came from the workshop of Camelia Periwinkles collections!
Speaking of Camelia, she was given some pink neon felt she wanted for her neon range! Lots of dresses where going to be made for summer...
All of the residents came to the square before going home for lunch to celebrate and sing carols. They where all happy... The End.
WAIT! Yes, I'm happy for them and all but look at the amount of wrapping I have to sort out now! Ugh....

P.s. I am now posting from the iPad I got for Xmas, there fore the picture quality is probably better!

a wooly winter

Its nearly christmas, today is the eve of christmas eve! I know for a fact that some sylvanian presents I have wrapped contain some wooly clothing i made about a month ago!
Now, i am very sorry I didn't post recently, I had a post organised but it didn't publish so  , it was meant to go up last weekend but you know -_-.
(LOL, that looks like a person with a mole :.) )
So, first off, I would like to announce the sylvanian families christmas display!
Every year I make one of these, and they are super cute!
AROUND the cornwood tree in the square there where lots of real presents! Charlotte, Peppa and Spice have found something for them and are super ready and eager!

The carol service was beautiful, the singers sounded like angels, and Spud sung a few solos for his claim to fame!

By the carol singers there was a banquet table laid with christmas cake, ripe fruit and candy canes with egg nog!
(Thanks to Amelia for the cake and candy!)

The dancers danced to sweet angel music, and everyone was happy.

How did the mayor come to be?

Hey everyone! Im back with some amazing new posts to give you! Also, make sure you check out Cornwood Sylvanians (click on the name) :*
It was my original website, but I wanted to update more freely, so all hail EMILYS SYLVANIAN FAMILIES! But it includes some stories, how to decorate your village, what to actually do with your sylvanians (I must admit sometimes I don't know what to do with the cuties! ;) ) How to make dresses (with templates) and lots, lots more! ENJOY!  (Two parts to this story again, but this ones a bit more long!)

SO..... did I ever tell you how the mayor of cornwood BECAME the mayor of cornwood? Or how the family got there in the first place? Well....lets zoom back, back and back before Cornwood was open to the public and well known.............................................BACK TO 2011!
image.jpeg

The creme cats where travellers, explorers, if you like. They had always wanted to settle down, but had to find a nice, suitable village to raise their children in. One day, they jumped into a taxi, and asked for Nutwood. Nutwood was a big sylvanian city with lots of jobs and big houses. They planned to stay there for a while. Unfortunetly, the taxi driver could not hear Troy because they where in Nutwood's neighbouring city, Oakwood. The vehicles zoomed past so fast that the driver thought they asked for Cornwood. A peacuful, quiet village 50 miles away from anywhere else. Very remote, very exclusive. But beautiful.

The taxi pulled up in Cornwood. The family thought they where in the out skirts of Nutwood. When the taxi had left, Troy found a villager and asked them where they could rest for the night.
"Ummm.....There are some houses down in Lower Cornwood....." Hornbull stuttered. He didn't know these strangers.
"LOWER CORNWOOD?!" Troy boomed. "CORNWOOD?!"
"Yep, this is Cornwood.." Hornbull was a bull, but a shy one at that. He continued his job at putting up signs for Mr.Periwinkles business of sign making.

"Come to think of it, there's only 1 house here up for sale."
troy looked around. He did not care for a city anymore, he wanted to live in Cornwood for his children's sake.

"How much?" Troy questioned. "Oh, you get it for free if you become the mayor." Hornbull answered politely. Hornbull left and Troy read the sign.
image.jpeg

"Mayor election this week!" It read. Troy barely knew anyone. But he had to become mayor. The elections where two days away. He put himself forward. Meanwhile, they slept in the grocery store. On the floor. The owner, Zafrina was very generous and offered them a comfy pillow and duvets each.

Another contestant for the job was Hornbulls boss, William Periwinkle. image.jpeg

He put up silly posters with a silly drawring of him on, hoping to persuade the adults. image.jpeg the winning one was next to the store where Troy and his family slept.
image.jpeg The next day, Zafrina put this up. "VOTE FOR TROY! you get better mail systems, More fun activitys for the kids at school, more fun events, fair wage (pay) and a happy village.
image.jpeg Troys wife posted this OBEY sign with her husband on! It was very cool and won over a few adults as it was very artistic!
image.jpegimage.jpeg Also, Zafrina dropped a leaflet of at everyone's houses with Troys Information on. image.jpeg

Finally, it was election day, and it looked like Periwinkle was winning the crowd over. image.jpeg image.jpeg

Near the end of the day, The Previous Mayor and The richest lady (Maise Hamilton) Stood up on the podium and announced the winner.
image.jpeg "And the winner of 2011 Cornwood election is.........WILLIAM PERIWINKLE!" The crowd applauded, but Troy was upset. He had found his perfect village and already it was slipping away.
" WAIT!"
image.jpeg It was Daisy Fresian. She had stood up on the slide and announced something. "WHEN I was voting, my slip got carried away with the wind and I promised I would get it back. Here it is...."
The crowd handed it down without looking to the previous mayor.
image.jpeg "This changes a alot of things......." He began. "The real mayor of Cornwood is TROY!"
image.jpeg The crowd went wild as Troy stepped up.
image.jpegThe crowd shouted "WE LOVE YOU!" "YOUR AWESOME!" "THANKYOU!!!!"
And then, a few weeks later, after the three members of the Creme cat family had moved in (Troy, his wife Zoe, and their son Dylan)
Troy announced something.

THE NEXT PART OF THIS STORY IS CALLED "A NEW SURPRISE" AND WILL BE OUT SOON!!!!

ALSO, Here is Troys improved poster. William Periwinkle offered to touch it up for him for free to promote his sign company.

The walk part 2

Heres part 2 and i hope you enjoy! I'll put in the last picture from part 1 so your not confused :)
(PART 1-SCROLL DOWN!)

The Periwinkles loved a good walk but they had to swear to the mother, Kate, that they would not hop. They left super early to get a good head start on the others "I'm only leaving early because i need to talk to my friends!" Cherry told her brother sternly "I know, I know..." Peter Mumbled.

The fresians got up early too. They kept buzzing and talking about how far the walk would be!

every one got there early with time to spare. Everyone adored Pixies brand new umbrella "My mum got it from Matilda Billabong, the local taylor! Matilda designed it specially and mum got it for a ball she's attending! Apparently, its going to rain today, so mum gave this piece of expensive equipment and i must not lose it!"

Even though people loved Pixies beautiful equip, Spice Hamilton mentioned how silly Charlotte looked. "I was........ill yesterday....ACHOOOOOO! Sorry. Mum gave me this to keep me cosy!"

The teachers soon arrived. "We will bus you down to the walking site! Then we will get going! We have not got a lot of time!"

When they got there. everyone was buzzing excitement. Until they looked back........

OH NO! "Look at how far away we are! and we have a big hill to walk up!"

The teachers settled everyone and got them into groups. Normally, the groups would be bigger, but Lower Cornwood students had the cold that Charlotte had, so they had to continue without them.
Team 1 was Spice, Paddock and Cherry.
Team 2 was Peter, Pixie, Charlotte and Peppa

All the way. Spice led all the way. Always in front. Cherry and Paddock where mummering and talking but Spice told them to keep walking! They must be first!

Meanwhile, Pixie's team where laughing and giggling all the way! But when the wind caught Pixies Umbrella.....

It flew away! It flew away over the hills to Cornwood. "MUM WILL BE FURIOUS!" Pixie Shouted.
"No she wont, don't worry." Peter said. He kissed Pixie on the cheek <3

Anyway, they all stumbled ahead. Only to find Spice stuck in the bog over to their right.

"Spice thought it would be quicker to take the shortcut, we said there was a bog, but he wouldn't listen, and he got stuck." Cherry explained "Help us, he's been stuck for 15 minutes!" Paddock pleaded.

Team 2 gathered together and thought of a plan. Suddenly, the sickly Charlotte piped up with an excellent idea! "I know! We will use my scarf to pull him out! Just like a rope!"
"THAT'S GENIUS!" Cherry said with giddiness. "Lets get started!"

"PULL! PULL!" Charlotte croaked. Spice gripped the scarf, and was thankful for its thickness

Nearly...........................Nearly "AHHHHHHHHHH!" Spice scmreamed and -POP-

Spice was out! "YES! THANKYOU! THANKYOU SO MUCH!"

On the way back, Paddock carried the bags. The girls where emotionally and physically drained from the heart quickening experience and the long walk they had before it.

Spice was given Charlotte's scarf to don. It was thick and beautiful!

They all walked back as a team. This time, Spice at the back!

When they got back, The teachers where there. And Rebbeca had Pixies umbrella!
"I found it in a ditch, i thought you might like it back!"
"YES THANKYOU!"
"I see the walk has worked again!" Oliver chuckled
"whaaaaaa?!"
"Well, we made all your parents do it when i was a young, vibrant teacher as they all where fighting a lot. Yes, quite. The walk always sorts it out!"

The end.
